Bulgarian parliament overturns presidential veto on looser budget

SOFIA (Reuters) – Bulgaria’s Socialist-dominated parliament overturned a presidential veto on plans to increase the fiscal deficit and issue new debt this year, as hundreds of pro- and anti-government demonstrators rallied in downtown Sofia.
