Egypt court keeps activist in jail as trial starts

CAIRO (Reuters) – A prominent Egyptian blogger and political activist went on trial on Sunday charged with insulting President Mohamed Mursi, in a case his supporters see as evidence of an escalating crackdown on dissent.
