Nigerian troops reinforce northeast cities in emergency

MAIDUGURI/YOLA, Nigeria, May 15 – Nigerian troops moved into cities in the northeast on Wednesday, after President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency there in response to an Islamist insurgency.
